J. Wesley Andrews
Wes Andrews is a portfolio manager at Cardinal Capital. He also serves as the firm’s chief compliance officer. Prior to joining Cardinal, Wes was a vice president in the capital markets division at Lehman Brothers where he was involved with the execution of hybrid debt and convertible securities transactions. Before Lehman, Wes was a vice president in Citigroup’s fixed income capital markets division where he focused on project and asset finance deals. Wes began his career in corporate finance as an associate in the telecom, media and technology investment banking group at UBS Warburg. Wes earned an M.B.A. from Georgetown University, a J.D. from the University of Miami and B.A. from Hampden-Sydney College, where he played quarterback. He is FINRA series 65 licensed, a former member of the Florida Bar and United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
I enjoy working with the valuation model that often times nominates companies that we may have never heard of but meet our investment criteria. It’s fun to not only research the companies for investment but to inform clients about the individual companies they own so that they can understand and participate in the success of their holdings.
